By choosing to receive text messages from Utah Valley Refugees (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”).

This Agreement applies only to our text messaging service (“Service”) and does not replace or change any other Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy you may have with Utah Valley Refugees.

By using this Service, you agree to:

• Resolve disputes with us individually (not as part of a class action);
   
• Waive your right to a jury trial; and
   
• Settle claims through binding arbitration.
   

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

You confirm that any phone number you provide to us is accurate and that you are the current owner of that number.
If your phone number changes or is reassigned, you agree to notify us right away at 801-850-6013 before the change takes effect.

By giving us your phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS, MMS, or similar) from Utah Valley Refugees related to:

• Our programs, services, and events,
   
• Updates, appointments, and announcements, and
   
• Information about your relationship with us.
   

Your consent is not required to receive any services from us.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

You may opt out of our text messages at any time.
To stop receiving messages:

• Reply STOP to any message from Utah Valley Refugees, or
   
• Contact us at 801-850-6013 and request to be removed.
   

You may also text HELP for assistance.
After you opt out, you’ll receive one final confirmation message.

You agree to be responsible for any claims, damages, or costs that result from:

• Providing a phone number that does not belong to you, or
   
• Failing to tell us when your phone number changes.
   

This includes any claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar state laws.
You agree to defend and hold Utah Valley Refugees harmless from such claims.

Broadvoice, our messaging service provider, is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or claims between Utah Valley Refugees and any third parties, including customers or individuals, arising from the use of this Service.

To participate in this Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental permission if under 18,
   
• Have your own mobile device capable of two-way messaging, and
   
• Use a wireless carrier that supports SMS or MMS.
   

Not all carriers or devices support this Service. Check your mobile plan for details.

You confirm that you have the right and authority to agree to these Terms.
If any part of this Agreement is found invalid, the rest will still apply.

Utah Valley Refugees may update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you, and continued participation means you accept the updated Terms.
