Ben's Bio

Ben Anderson, CPA, serves as Accountant for Utah Valley Refugees (UVR), bringing nearly a decade of experience in financial leadership, accounting, and nonprofit fiscal management. He holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Utah and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Utah, as well as a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. His professional experience includes founding Aegis Accounting, serving as Corporate Controller at Enium Capital Group, working as an Internal Auditor for dōTERRA International, and providing fractional CFO services to growing organizations.

In addition to his professional work, Ben previously served as Volunteer CFO and Board Member for Miry’s List, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting refugee families in the Los Angeles area. He specializes in bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning and preparation, financial compliance, internal controls, and grant-related financial management. Ben is passionate about supporting refugees and believes that welcoming newcomers is a defining part of the American story. At UVR, he is committed to ensuring strong financial stewardship and accountability that help advance the organization’s mission of empowering refugee and immigrant families to build successful new lives.
